20-11-2009 - NO MORE SEX ?

My mood while writing this blog:
UNSURE

HELLO LADIES,,

WELL LADIES YESTERDAY I ENDED UP IN LABOR AND DELIVERY.. CUZ I JUST WASN'T FEELING RIGHT AT ALL. THE NIGHT B4 HUBBY AND I DID A LITTLE NOOKIE,, LOL. SO YESTERDAY I WAS HAVING CONTRACTIONS AND TIGHTING IN MY BELLY..WELL, DOC SAYS I AM DIALATED 1 CM. DOC ALSO SAID EVERY THING WAS OK,, WAS NOT IN LABOR,, BUT IF THE PAINS CONTINUED I SHOULD GO BACK,, SHE ALSO ADVICE ME NOT TO HAVE SEX.. HUH? I STILL HAVE 7 WEEKS TO GO,, AND 6 WEEKS POSTPARTUM.. THAT IS ABOUT 3 MONTHS OF NO NOOKIE. THAT IS A RELLY LONG TIME. (TOO LONG). MY HUSBAND IS SCARED AND AND SAYS NO SEX TOO. BUT I'M LIKE NO SEX FOR NOWWWWW BUT WHEN I AM IN MY 37 WEEK WE NEED TO HAVE SEX,, SO LABOR CAN GO SMOOTHER. WE NEED TO HAVE SEX DURING THE PREGNANCY CUZ WE ARE STILL FACING 6 WEEKS OF NO SEX AT ALL AFTER THE BABY. IDK. I GO FOR MY REGULAR APPOINTMENT NEXT FRIDAY AND I'LL B SURE TO ASK IF WE CAN RESUME SEX, I HOPE AND PRAY WE CAN. I DON'T KNOW THAT I'LL B ABLE TO GO 3 MONTHS WITHOUT IT. LOL.. IF I SLEPT ALONE MAYBE IT WOULDN'T B SO CHALLENGING BUT I SLEEP WITH MY STRONG,, SEXY HUBBY EVERY NIGHT.. HE WILL HAVE TO GO SLEEP IN ANOTHER ROOM. LOL. I'LL GO NUTS.. LOL. WUT DO U LADIES THINK.. HAS THIS EVER HAPPENED TO ANY OF U ?

thats crazy haha but their are other alternatives to sex nows the time to get creative lol , i cant believe their stoping your sex over 1 cm of dialation i was at 1cm for like 3weeks my last preg but i guess your better safe than sorry if i were you id try to hold out till 37 weeks after that gloves are off

lol.. I felt like that after I had my baby during the 6 week period but not before.. I wish I had your libido my hubby sexually harrasses me everynight and I look at him like dude if you don't back up out of my face lol be strong my friend :0)

Wow girl, I guess they want to be on the safe side..cuz your baby would be premature...I know we all wanted our babies out early and I was one of them..I was 1cm and I was still having sex cuz I wanted the baby out. But I guess their looking out for you, and want to make sure your baby is full term and healthy, cuz the babies lungs arn't fully developed yet, that really is the main concern. When I was 1cm, it was a mon. and I had my baby the following mon.

Lucky you.... i am seven months and BF and i have only messed around twice....It drives me crazy and i just end up having to "Service" myself. lol. We sleep together every night and its VERY hard to keep my hands off of him. Its best for baby and me so were tryign to be celibate until the lil man is born. Good Luck!

I agree with you. Maybe take some time off until they consider you "term" and then baby dance away!!! Tell hubby he can worry about it for the next 4 weeks but after that it is on!xxx ooo

I had to go through the same thing when I had placenta previa. I was mad azz hell at my Dr. I was heated. But I made it through it. I had to wait 6 weeks, then the placenta moved. I was so happy. I couldn't wait. I feel u 4 real. I know how that is. LOL

Hey Indy,Well Im glad to hear everything is ok! That sucks about the no sex rule! Im sure the Dr was just being extra cautious though. But no rough stuff crazy lady! LOL ;) Ask the Dr on Friday but my guess is that they will tell you its ok but to just take it easy :)
