| 16-12-2009 - Isabella Ivy Kentie Birth 08/12/09 | My mood while writing this blog:Happy |
My blood pressure went up to ridiculous levels and I have been on bed rest for the last three months. I moved from Hull, to Lancaster and love my new house, the area is so picturesque, and I can see the river that surrounds my house from most of my windows. The kids are loving the area as well.
I got booked into Lancaster Royal Infirmary at 35 weeks and was still presenting with mega high BP, sigh, and to be honest I was feeling very poorly by this point. Baby was still laying strange and they scanned me at 35 & 36 weeks, turns out that Hull has missed the pure fact that my poor baby girl has been suck under my ribs for weeks, head under one side and bum under the other side, :( The placenta was very low and her cord was dangling, they then measured my BP again and it had risen further to very dangerous levels and admitted me instantly ... I was placed on beta blockers which worked amazingly well straight away, I went from 175/111 to 102/62. They let me home the next day but had me booked into theatre the following tues morning for an elective ceasarean section, they wer surprised I made it that far, they were expecting me to come in thru the week as I had already had a show.
Anyways, after a week of being petrified and getting horror stories from so called friends ... I bit the bullet and went into hospital first thing tues morning 08th dec 09, and with the aid of a spinal, gave birth to my beautiful baby girl Isabella Ivy Kentie McConnachy weighing 5lbs 14ozs, 48cms long, at 10:01am, I then haemorraged and they fought for 40 mins to stem the bleeding, but was sat up and in recovery relatively quickly, thanking my lucky stars for both my daughter and my own lives :)
She was born at 37 weeks gestation and is absolutely perfect apart from a touch of jaundice and being so tiny. The kids adore her as do we, and she is the image of her father, poor thing, lmfao x :)))
