05-6-2009 - 10 weeks ... and sick!

My mood while writing this blog: Sick/emotional/too hot!!

Yeah, this week has gone by sooooo veryyyy slowlyyyy, especially as they had put me back those five days!!! Feels like I have done the week twice. I move to week 11 tomorrow finally, and am quite exited as it will only be a week until we can tell everyone...

I had my first antenatal appointment and it took forever, I was getting more and more aggitated with the daft nurse who never took anything I said as truth until she checked and double checked in my notes, then told it to me as though I am stupid! I am pregnant yes, stupid - far from it, knowledgeable about my own medical history...hell yeah. I know I have had three live boys, and surprisingly enough I know their dates of birth as I was there, but it seems the nurse knew better??? I also know how many miscarriages I had, and the fact I had an ectopic, I am damn sure by my stats that this is my 12 pregnancy but she knew better...and guess what? I was correct, funny that! She then informed me that I must have only one tube as I had an ectopic, I explained the ectopic was dealt with chemically but nooooooo I was wrong until I said "oh just look at my notes again!" and lo n behold, I WAS CORRECT! Sigh...My appointment was at 10.30am, I walked out of there at 2pm sick, with a migraine, I hadnt had a drink nor anything to eat, bloods taken and she had a freak out at my level of BP which is always high, look at my notes (again) stupid woman!!! My baby son was almost hysterical, hubby was getting annoyed...I could have gladly throttled her...Oh and she tried to cancel my booked follow up scan because I had my booking scan, at this point I went a little nuts at her, if EPAU felt they wanted to rescan who the hell was she to cancel it? they do know my history and my first name... hence my scan is still booked....

We have had a heatwave this week, so I have been sweltering...I really arent a sun lover...gimme snow...please!

My heating still isnt fixed, that will be three weeks this sat!!! Nice, we are forcast rain to follow the heatwave...

And, sick, omg have I been sick this week....urggggh.
