29-6-2009 - Poorly Sick...

My mood while writing this blog: Poorly and sick!

Well, it started in week 10 it seems and I am now 14 1/2 weeks....!

Week 10 my midwife sent off my urine sample to be tested, it came back positive for infection...they asked if I would like antibiotics, I refused stating I felt well...so must have passed it.

Week 13 I start with Cystitis symptoms...So instantly started myself on lots of water and cranberry juice...All week long it was on and off...

Week 14 it gets worse...I figure if no better by monday will ring doc. Sat have a very stressful day (Long Story) And dont really drink all that much and only manage to eat 1 n half crumpets with jam on...Sun I come down with a horrendous migraine and morning sickness back with avengence... This morning, I am running loo left right and center, tummy cramps, burning up and shivery, Sometimes im just dribbling on loo others im gushing, Back end feels like I need to go aswell but nothing there, and pain in right kidney area. So, I ring Doc, the receptionist was a complete TOOL...Told me I could have an appointment in like a week, I told her I couldnt wait that long...she then wants another urine sample, I also explain again that they already had one, and if I was to do one right now it would be useless as I have drank so much cranberry juice and water it would be very weak...I also explain that I have a full script of antibiotics from a month ago when I tried to fight a recurring throat infection myself (which is probably where all this is from) so she says she will talk to a doctor and read out her statement, the strange mare put down I am refusing appointments and to give samples and would someone help?

I had to ring back after 4pm. I did ring back at 4.15pm, and get told again that they need a new water sample, at this point I am so desperate that I have a sample sent with partner who was mortified he had to drive my icky germ ridden wee to the doctors,lmao. He has then been kept waiting until now 6.30ish pm, to be given a script for me, this has been bouncing around the office all day, when I originally rang in the TOOL put it in as a general request and the receptionist has just explained to me that was wrong of her, it should have been urgent (as we all know) Anyways, they originally wrote me a script for amoxycillin, luckily the good receptionist saw this and got new script as I am allergic to penicillin in a big way...sigh...and my hubby is now braving ASDA for me to have tablets tonight... In the meantime, I still feel like shite!!!! Grrr at the mad woman on reception... Fingers crossed feel better very soonies...
