My mood while writing this blog: tax credits |

anyways.... we have to put amy in child care and we cant afford the fees, but if i dont work we cant afford to live
im trying to see about tax credits but the weirdo i talked to said coz we earn more than 16k a yr we dnt get anything. hows that fair? i know loads of ppl who are stay at home mums whos partners are on more than that n they get TONNES of tax credits all we need is a little boost for child care else were going to end up in a hell of a lot of debt
can any of you help? do u know where i can find the rulse? xxx

I cant memba exactly but £16k is a cut off for something with them so it could well be help towards chilcare or working tax credits. Thursday, 28 Jan thats def wrong!!!! My friends claims them and they earn about 32 thousand per year. There are two elements child tax for things like child care costs and then working tax credits to top up your income. Both are done at the same time by the inland revenue. I would telephone and make a claim, they do have an online calulator but its quite hard to use, good luck ~YummyMummy~ -
Thursday, 28 Jan Best thing to do is call them direct and make a claim, I think the cut off for help is 45k if I remember rightly, plus they should give you a calculation as to what you may recieve. Or you could ring the Job centre as they do calculations. Or citizens Advice :) Hope this helps and don't worry there will be an entitlement somewhere x
