well ladies, we were supposed to have our 1st trimester ultra screen today but it is relatively new at my hospital and they have been having technical difficulties with billing the insurance companies. they were supposed to call us and let us know but they missed us. so basically my whole appointment was canceled. given that i had a previous missed miscarriage, i said i was concerned and just needed to know there was a heartbeat. they compromised and asked if we could try listening on the doppler if that would be good enough. i said of course! i just need to know we still have a heartbeat. thank God we got to hear it and it was amazing and it was a strong 168 beats per minute. i've fallen even more in love with my little miracle. we have a quad screen set up for my next appointment which is sept. 26th. i already can't wait, baby will be so big by then and will definitely look much more like a baby. hugs to all...i think i could hug the world right now!

Congrats on hearing the heartbeat that's just wonderful, have they booked you in for another scan?
