16-8-2010 - Leaving for Europe today...

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Well, i'm off to Europe today (one week work, one week holiday), with Jade and i still have so much today. We are flying via Dubai and Spain to go to Holland, and i'm sooooo scared the long hours in transit (30hrs) will freak Jade out completely. She's used to flying overseas with me, but i have never chosen a flight via Dubai, and that, of course, adds like a friggin lot of miles to the journey!

Anyway, i'm more looking forward to the 4 days i'll spent in Spain for the 26th of August, i have already packed my bikini and sunscreen, not forgetting a load of breezy summer dresses! The weather is fine in SA, but i just can't get over the chilly bite in the air!

Anyway, my flight is at 06:10pm and my boyfriend is still waiting for his passpaort to be couriered from cape Town! I can already see the insanity brewing in his eyes if he doesn't get that passport in time! Well, it will be a pity if i have to fly without him them, but yeah, lol.

Anyway, i firmly believe Spain will be a better holiday destination then France, as it was so very much dissapointing when i was there in January. The people were distant and downright rude and impolite (NOT ALL OF THEM, OF COURSE, just in case some smarty-pants-don't know-nothing wants to comment on this blog blabbering that not everyone is the same, don'tjudge! LOL!), and i didn't enjoy it one bit, especially in Paris. Shame, maybe it was also because it was Winter, nobody feels like being chirpy on a cold, icy winter;s day, hehehe!

Anyway, i hope all of you are in good health, as i;ve been struggling with a runny nosey cold for a quite a few days now, so annoying!

And please send some holiday tips for Spain for those of you who had been there already, as i'm not really sure what is visit-worthy there! Could've googled it, of course, but just had no time to really plain the holiday part of our trip, focusing all the time on work. But in any case, if it is as good as Malaysia was, then i'd be having NO problems at all for the next two weeks, hehehe!

I'll be seeing my in laws again, lovely people, i must say, especially my bf's stepfather. They are going to meet Jade for the first time now, so i hope they find her as adorable as i do!
