08-4-2008 - JOURNAL Feeling good!!!My mood while writing this blog:
Feeling good!!!

Yea Yea Yea !!!! We found our that we are pregnant. First Let me say it has been a rollercoaster. First We tried for five months and then Because We M/C April 4th 2007 and I have PCOS I had to undergo some test . One of them was an endo biopsy which my doctor did after my 1st round of clomid. Now I must say that God and only God was looking out for us and our little baby, because my doc tested me twice before she did the biopsy which by the way is a test to see if ovulation is taking place properly and if the lining is healthy. One was a urine test and one was a blood test and they both said negative. This was on October 11th and 15th. So nervous as my husband and I were we went in for the invasive test. It wasn't so bad at all I thought It would hurt and It really didn't. I also took plenty of motrin that morning. Anyway I had the test and my period was suppose to start on the 19-20 of October and then I would do my second round of clomid but my period never came I cramped like it was going to start but nothing so I took a home test on Friday October 19th and wala It came back positive. I couldn't believe it even though I knew it. I took a second test On October 20th and it was positive. My husband and I were so happy we were in shock we were so scared, cause remember I just had a uterin endo biopsy that same week on Monday plus the loss we suffered last April . So we prayed and we rejoiced and we called the doc office on Monday the 22nd They said great and were going to make me an appointment for 6 weeks until I explained my situation and they put me on hold talked to my doctor and came back to the phone telling me I could be seen that day. So We have known about this blessing from almost week two of it's life.

Keeping the secret wasn't easy, however it was exciting! We decided not to tell anyone and just keep it between the two of us. During the month of November my lower back ached so bad I thought for sure I was going to have another loss. Turns out that it was the chemical relaxin in my system causing me to have siatic nerve pain. My doctor sent me to physical therapy which I did twice a week for 6weeks. On one occasion my husband went with me to pt. It made my therapist change his whole routine he stayed a mile away from my butt which is where the pain would run down into. This was quite comical as the physical therapist was a man. Lets just say that my message was cut a little short. lol During this month I was seen three times just cause they were keeping close watch on the baby and on my nerves. And I gotta tell you it was ok with me I would have gone every day if I could have just to make sure everything was ok.

December 20th 2007

We made plans to tell our family and by now our oldest had long figured out our secret. But I must say she kept it underwraps to everyone in our family except her whole school Ha! Ha! Ha!. We had an ultrasound back in November during our 6th week pregnant. and we got to see our baby's heart beat it was 117 that was awesome and now our baby is nicknamed 117. Sounds silly I know but it's fun for us. Then I did the Tri screen test and had another ultrasound on December 11th the ultasound was conducted by a very knowlegable Dr. he specializes in high risk pregnancies. He gave us wonderful news that he found the nasal bone and that the measurements were right in order and our risk for down syndrome dropped immediately. Then I had blood test that day and was told to return for the second set of blood test during my 15th week.

On December 23rd 2007 we took our mothers and our three children to eat at Red Lobster restaraunt. This would be the last time for a while that I would eat any seafood!( Not because I was having sickness or anything but because I didn't want to risk mercury in my system. ) Anyway We made copies of our ultasound pictures and had our three children take a picture with Santa and we put these in a card for our mothers and each one of our children. We handed out the cards and told them they had to look at the cards all at the same time. It was great! My mom turned the pictures around and around and then it hit her like a brick it's a baby she shouted my Mom in love immediately began to cry tears of joy and our kids jumped up and down yelling it's a baby right there in the middle of the room of a crowded restaraunt.

During the 1st 14 weeks of my pregnancy I took a progestrone supplement and I still currently take one 81 mg asprin daily due to my medical history. The progestrone helped to support and sustain the pregnancy and the asprin keeps my blood from clotting too much or attacking the baby. Due to a condition called ANA.

February 20th 2008

I remember being very sick with a cold flu strep like bacterial infection in my throat My whole family got sick 1st my middle daughter then my son then my oldest and then Myself and my husband well they all recovered after a few days except my oldest and I we were sicker than two dogs especially her she was sick for over a whole 4 week time period.

March 20th 2008

During this month all has been going well except during my 23rd week I had to go to the emergency room because I had this horrible rash I thought it might be yeast but I was'nt sure it wasn't like normal it was on my skin and very irritated angry if you will. Anyway I went to the restroom to pee and when I wiped there was blood on the tissue. Shock and fear and terror and every stunning emotion I could have filled my body. My husband immediatly worked to calm my spirit and called the doctor it took her maybe two min to call back and she told me to go to the hospital she would call them and let them know I was on my way besides she wanted close contact with the resident there. Turns out the baby and I were fine they tested me for everything they could and ended up treating my yeast infection with an oral med and cream. I was released to come home around 3am in the morning very tired and much more relaxed after being checked out compleatly. I know I got this infection from the round of antiboiotics I had to take a few weeks ago at the end of Feb for a horrible bactirial throat infection.

April 20th 2008

Today is actually April 14th I had an ultrasound and it was awesome my little one's heart was 167 and He or She is 3 and 1/2 pounds I am going the end of this month for a 3d ultrasound session I can't wait I hope the pictures are great and the dvd is what I think will be great. Anyway I gained 6pounds or so I thought I almost got sick not really but wasn't happy about it until my doctor check me and said that I had too much fluid retained in my body and she wants to recheck my blood pressure in a week to make sure it stays good which it was today. I forgot to ask her about my hip pain at night and the lack of sleep I have been getting that may have me retaining fluid she also wants me to wear support hose. Any hooo she said that If I go to 40 weeks and the baby keeps gaining 1/2 pound a week it'll be a good 8 to 8 and 1/2 pounds or so. Well I was going to do natural again until she said that then I thought I don't know if I can handle that the biggest baby I have had was 7lbs 4oz and that was quite big enough for me I almost lost my life litteraly. I had so may stitches the doctor if you could call her that bless her heart she had to ask for more thread. So now since she checked my cervix today I have been having mild cramping she said it is closed but soft.

Well I am almost there almost ready to reach the home stretch. I have been feeling good a little tired like when I was first trimester but not too bad. I really think this month seemed to breeze thru sometimes it went like a flash and others it dragged but I have been extremely blessed no problems. We went to Childbirth over 30 classes this month May 7th, 14th , 21st, and 28th it was a good class. I enjoyed the class instructor and the members out of 12 people over 30 we were the only ones who had children already and we are the first in line to give birth according to estimated due dates. So then we signed up for a breastfeeding class and will take it on the 17th of June, Hope we make it is what I was thinking when we registered. I had my 3d ultrasound and started taking more belly shots. I am so waiting for this baby to come I love it so much already.

So I'm due this month today is June 26th as We can see I am overdue by 1 day I have been at 1cm for about two weeks and not progressing from what the doctor can tell very much. Tuesday I was so happy to see my doctor because I was so nervous that she was gone the week of the 17th then When I saw her I found out the baby is doing great all is good but it is in a sunny side up way up position and I was a little disappointed cause I had been having contractions all weekend they would even come about 5 to 6min apart from time to time. While I was having my NST on Tuesday the 24th I didn't have one. Well she told me to try walking and walking so I went to the mall with my husband and girls and we walked around Aurora mall about 4 to 5 times BOY my legs were sore cause I had not been able to keep up my exercise since week 23 when I had to go to er and my doctor cut out all exercise. So My Wonderful husband has worked his heart out to provide for us and has really worked to make me happy he learned to put in a whole sprinkler system and is almost finished with our back yard saved us 2 thousand dollars that we didn't have to spend anyway. He is working at realestate with no help from me these days and the airport and put together the baby's entire room with the help of our 11yr old and 8yr old How cute. He got me a rocking chair and ottoman and a new digital camera with a printer. I'm truly a blessed woman that God would make him the mighty man of God that he is. So we are all getting excited and this morning I see bloody show YEA!!!! YEA!!! I was so happy. Progression hopefully it won't be long now. Until we get to meet Jayden Matthew or Meah Danielle.

Due Date June 25th 2008!!!!
