| 10-1-2009 - 17 weeks | My mood while writing this blog:exasperated |
I cant believe that 17 weeks have gone by already..it seems like just yesterday I was posting the pics of the Hpt's. So Ive had 2 ultrasounds that confirm that we are going to be welcoming another little boy into the fold. I have one more in about 10 days so this should be the final confirm of a boy-no questiona asked. We decided on a name for our son. He will be Elisha Jadon Neville. Alot of people I have told this to are confused as to which sex the name Elisha represents-----It is a Hebrew Boys name the means "God is my salvation". Jadon is a combonation of both our father's names "James and Don".
I have an interesting story as to why we chose this name for our son.......In the last day of the month of May 08 my husband and I had been ttc for about a year. We were getting over a miscarriage that occured in April and we were having some SERIOUS issues in our marriage. I though it might be the end for us.....During one of my darkest moments I was hysterical and crying. I was praying and I asked God to give me a sign or let me know if I was ever going to have another child. I opened my Bible and put my finger on the page and looked down...this is the excact passage my finger was on: "And he said," At this season, about this time next year, you shall embrace a son." (2 Kings 4:16) The "he" that was telling the woman she was going to have a child was named Elisha.
So we started the hard work of dealing with our problems and decided that divorce was not an option. I kept taking hpt's thinking "this month will be the month" for the next 4 months and nada...they were always negative...I had kept in the back of my mind what I had read but it felt like it was never going to happen...Then when finally did get a BFP I worked the dates and sure enough Elisha will be born In the second week of June which is pretty close give or take 2 weeks to the time I had read that passage. I did not need an ultrasound to confirm I was having a boy.....I knew if from the moment I found out I was pregnant. So here is the latest belly pic---
