so i thought i was starting to feel the baby move in my lower abdomen a couple of weeks ago, but i havent felt that same feeling the last few days. should i be worried? i dont know what to think. i guess it really worries me because i lost a baby 5 1/2 yrs. ago when i was this far along and didnt know the baby had died until i went in for my 4mo. check-up. anyone else feel the baby move and then not feel it for a while. i know its still early, but who knows?

Yes, I am going through the same thing. Some days I feel him/her ALL DAY LONG and can't believe how active he/she is. Then the next couple of days...nothing at all. I worry too. My husband ordered me a fetal doppler on ebay and I love it. It's still pretty hard to find the heart beat and can be frustrating sometimes, but it is also reassuring to hear the heartbeat in your own house. From everything I have read (and I read a lot about pregnancy)...at this stage in pregnancy our babies are still too small to feel consistent movement. It's normal right now to go a couple of days without feeling anything. I was worried the other morning, so I decided to get out of bed and eat some oreos and milk. When I was done I went right back to bed and laid on my left side and was real still and quiet. It wasn't 5 minutes later and I could feel him/her. Must've been a little sugar rush or something. Well, I know I'm rambling...just wanted you to know that you're not alone out there. You should try something like the oreos...it worked for me. Also, I cannot wait to find out the gender! I am so tired of saying "him/her, he/she". Let me know how it goes...
