The scheduling nurse at my doctors office called me to set up my csection date. it is for July 10th! Normally she takes the baby 2 weeks early, but this time it is only 1 week. i didnt ask her why, b/c i know its better for the baby to be in there as long as they can be. They also sent me papers to sign for tubal ligation. for some reason it makes me sick to my stomach thinking about that. the procedure itself doesnt bother me, its just the fact that i know i will never be able to have kids again. i know that 3 babies are enough for me, but its just the thought. i dont know if anyone else feels that way. i know im weird! lol

goodluck to you! I would definatly consider your options before signing papers for the tubal. Even though it can be reversed....just a scary thought of making that type of decision. Im the same way! LoL I dont think I ever want to get it done.

I am right on with you about the Tubal ligation! Creation is like our special powers, I really feel that if such a thing was taken away we would lose something really important.... It would be like we were sort of defective and that if prior to then you were highly spiritual, you may lose some of your connections because believe it or not the womb is technically at the solar plexus chakra, and that is where many women say their Center is. Mine is at my heart chakra, but there really is true magic and power in creation.

That's great about the scheduled section! Hang on to those papers and DON'T sign them unless you are sure thats what you want to do. I am going to talk to my doctor about my options if I don't end up with a section because my hubby and I are for sure done having children. It's always better to look in to other forms of long term birth control than to do something that your heart doesn't feel is right. I have thought long and hard about my decision, and know it's what I want to do, but would never sign for something unless I was. Good luck with the decision!

Congrats on the date... I love knowing when where and how.... If you dont feel confortable yet then just keep the papers until you do.... I couldnt do it and now Im glad I didnt....but you should really be sure.... my sister did at 2 and went in to a depressed state... she is fine now.... but you have that 5 year options... check it out... good luck

I am getting a tubal done as well as this is 5th child(technically 6th) and I feel like I am done, but the same as you it makes me a little sad that my baby making days will be over. I am also slightly envious that you have a date when you know you will be meeting baby. I am not due until July 28th, but I always go overdue so it could be as long as 2 weeks later that I get to meet her. Anyhow, yay for the set date!

How did you even get a csection scheduled? This is my first and I don't know wether I should be already deciding how I'm gonna have her and all that stuff. Is it because your baby is big or something? Does that matter when scheduling a csection?
