| 20-7-2008 - Preggie update 20 July | My mood while writing this blog:tired, sick |
I spent the weekend doing my coaching course, and there is still such a lot of work to be done before my mid year assessment, not to mention that I am supposed to complete a 600 word feedback for a magazine on the intuitive dietitian that I saw.
I'm SOOOO tired. Going to bed in 10 minutes yay! My boobs are sore right now, but they go through their phases. Honestly, I prefer when they're sore because it reassures me. My ms is getting less, but right now I had about 1/3 of a cup of food, and I am feeling nauseous. I'm concerned that I'm not eating as much fruit & veg as I should (or want to!). I'm longing for blueberries, almonds and seeds. Hmmm.. or some juicy pineapple. I love the thought of squash and crunchy juicy apples. I also worry about the chemicals on the foods and the limited organic range in Cape Town. I also wish that people would put the mercury levels on the packaging of food so that we know what we're eating. I had tinned tuna the other day, and my cousin was berating me for it - putting me into a complete panic about the mercury level. Only to read an article about how tinned tuna is okay in limited quantities.
Also, our fish has funny names (snoek, butterfish, etc.), so I can't always look up mercury levels on the net. And anyway, the mercury levels are apparently location dependent too.
Oh to be rich and famous and just hire myself a brilliant chef who does all this stuff for me. :)
