William's 1st Birthday Planning!!!

So it's neally been a year since My little baby boy was born... So it's now time to start planning his first birthday! I'm so excited for him to be turning 1 but also a little sad that he's turning into a little boy and not my baby anymore...

Budget $1000 (not including presents)

So in March or just after i ordered his birthday cake and muffins as i decided we are doing the sesame street 1st beginnings theme... His cake is 4D of Baby Big Bird... The muffins will have eatable baby elmo and cookie monster figurines on top... I have searched everywhere for decorations and i thought the only place i could find was ebay that didn't include postage and was way over priced! Until i got so worked up and grumpy that My other half wasn't doing a single thing to help to organise William's party, he took my computer typed in a couple of words in google and found a FANTASTIC website, http://1stwishes.com It has everything you will need and does packages... It is a US company but ships to Australia and other countries too... So we are ordering the sesame street 1st beginnings ultimate party pack and the photo album...

Decorations total US $115.00 + $52.95 for postage = AUS $193.00

For Food we are going to do a BBQ lunch with a few extra bits an pieces including lollies, chips, fruit salad, fairy bread and iceblocks for the kids...

Games for the Children include pin the nose on elmo, pass the parcel, lolly hunt and elmo pinata for prizes I bought two giant crayons thaat are filled with pencils crayons, textas and paper, and the giant crayon can also be used as a piggy bank, also will have sesame street soft toys to be handed out as well... wrapped up in the parcel i am thing of a sesame street book that talks to you and comes with music and a microphone.

Party bags will be handed out to all the children i'm not sure what sort of things i will put in there, except for lollies and cake and balloons

Presents for William arn't included in the cost, but i bought him a smart tike, cosy coupe by little tikes, fisher price little people sets an elmo live, a bouncy ball with an elmo picture on it, some pj's, fisher price laugh and learn table, and leap frog magnets to go on the fridge. also some other small bits and pieces...

Now just have to send invites out!
