breast feeding on demand is just feeding the baby when it wants to be fed... which is what u do anyways, some people express milk inbetween , im on my 4th kid and ive never done that and i havent heard many people doing it either... but ive learnt that mums in the uk and mums in the us definatly do things differant. they say ur milk will dry up but if ur milk is gonna dry up early, i dont think anything will stop it... ur body will produce all the milk the baby needs.... if u express between feeds it will produce more than u need and sore boobs are so painful when u produce too much and u can get swollen milk ducts, there should be someone u can talk to about it.... our midwives really encourage breast feeding and give out loads of advice... if not try websites... good luck
