16-7-2009 - Am I money hungry???

My mood while writing this blog: Angry, sad!

Ok, this morning got off to a really bad start. Neil and I had an argument in the car on the way to work and the reason is this:

Neil sold his bike to a friend of his, Nathan, cos he didnt want it, he wanted a newer bike and they made this dumb a$$ agreement that Nathan would pay him back when he had the money, and in the interim, Neil could use the bike whenever he wanted. So, eventually Nathan got money and of the $4375.00 he owed, he only paid us back $3750.00, so he still owed us money there. He also borrowed money, about $1250.00. Then there was this envelope that these two bright sparks were keeping notes on, about how much money was paid and taken out and paid and taken out. When we eventually got the envelope, there was only about $150.00 in there.

So, Nathan was in a bike accident and just got paid out by the insurance. He calls Neil to ask him how much he owes, Nathan had a figure in his head of about $1125.00. So Neil calls me and I said, look I cant really remember, so lets just make it $625.00. So, he couldnt remember either, so he goes and tells Nathan, look, I dont remember, so lets just forget about it, dont pay me anything.

He didnt tell me he told Nathan this, I was gonna take that money and buy everything I needed for the baby. He's giving me shite about all the stuff I want, do I really need this or that, and yet he can just GIVE money away. I'm so upset, I feel like crying. For the past couple of days, I've been so upset cos I sold all my baby stuff to my brother and his wife for next to nothing and to buy that all brand new again is going to cost me about $625.00, i've really been so irritated by this, that i've got to start all over again.

He even gives me a hard time about buying anything, new bathroom mats, our mats have no rubber on them anymore, so you're slipping on the tiles AND they're faded, and he gives me shit about this. But he can just GIVE money away.

WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was told that I cant get a swing, i'm not getting a play gym, so fuck that, i'm buying whatever the fuck I want.

Sorry for all the swearing, i'm just so upset and I feel like mailing his friend and asking him for the money, but that would just look like I was money hungry or something.

Who the hell doesn't make notes of how much money you owe or borrowed someone. They're both such idiots, but Neil is the biggest, honestly! How do you do business like that?
