30-9-2008 - My wonderful, thoughful husband

My mood while writing this blog: loved!

So my birthday was yesterday. Adam has been giving me gifts all month...things that he orders online and is too anxious to wait to give to me. The night before my birthday he gave me a ton more gifts...six shirts, lots of jewelry, two purses, gift certificates to Carmike movies, all kinds of baby stuff, bubble bath, lotion, make-up, matching mommy/baby slipper socks....and i'm sure i forgot some things. I thought that was it for the birthday stuff. On the day of my birthday, I went to work and then to my master's class. I got home at 7pm a little stressed from the long day.

(This is where he is just too sweet!) There was a birthday note on the front door with instructions "Relax. Leave your troubles at the door. Have fun. Don't be uptight." I went inside to find another note "Watch where you step. Someone left candybars all over the floor. Where do they lead?" There were arrows made out of candybars leading upstairs. There was a note in front of the bathroom with a wine glass saying "you will need this." The bathroom had lit candles and candy bars in it and an ice bucket with strawberries and whipped cream and sparkling grape juice. AND a bubble bath ready and waiting for me. :o) Not done yet!!! There were more candybar arrows leading to the bedroom. Inside, Adam had spelled out I love you on the floor in candybars, there were red roses on the bed, and there was another ice bucket with whipped cream, raspberries, and chocolate milk. Brought me to tears! I couldn't stop smiling!

I love Adam so much and i never want to get mad at him again. He is seriously just so wonderful!!! I am so lucky that i get to spend the rest of my life with a guy like him. He is a great husband and will be a perfect dad!

DO I HAVE THE BEST, MOST THOUGHFUL HUSBAND OR WHAT??? I sure do! :o)
