22-6-2008 - Passed 9 months!

My mood while writing this blog: tired

I am new to this site, and am 9 months pregnant, so a long blog here about the last 9 months or so.....

My husband and I were trying to have a baby, and then turned out my health history and "female" problems required us to need medical help to get pregnant. 2 weeks later we got pregnant with twins. I was as sick as sick could be from day 1. I never thought someone could throw up so much and not throw up the baby. I started bleeding pretty heavily one day and thought that I had lost the babies. Turns out, one of the babies did not survive, but the second one was still there. Thank goodness the baby was healthy. I lost so much weight in the beginning it was scary. No medication worked for me, nothing. I waited it out. I got put on bed rest for almost 7 months to make sure that I would not lose this baby I am currently carrying. I survived. I found out pretty early on that the baby was a boy from all my scans and amnios and Dr. appointments. I have had a million different doctors. I don't think I have seen the same one more than 2x's. My insurance changed, then the Dr. office's changed what insurance they accept, or some doctors werent comfortable with my situation. After having major trouble finding a doctor, I found an office that would take me, and have been seen there ever since. My son is a big boy though. He is measuring around the 87th percentile for weight. I am scheduled for a c-section on the second of July. It can't come soon enough!
