So I had my check up today! I gained 3 lbs! So that means I have gained 3 lbs total so far! I was the same way with my daughter. Caleb's heart beat was 157, and I'm measuring a week ahead of schedule. I'm not sure if that is normal or not, but the doctor didn't seem concerned! I had some swelling in my hands and feet the other day, but I think that was because it was 87 degrees and humid outside! Yuck I hate hot weather!! Everything so far has been pretty good though, I have some miserable moments, but it's so worth it! My little guy is a constant mover, he's always kicking me, I love it. It's a wonderful feeling.
Oh and an update on my Nana, she has been having chemo treatments along with other medications, and so far so good, the doctors are very happy with her progress and they feel she will be just fine and that this lung cancer will not kill her. She has started losing her hair, but she wears wigs anyway, and she is in good spirits thank God.

It's so good to hear things are going well for you, LO and g-ma. I have my 24 week check-up tomorrow, too. I always a get a little anxious before and then feel so relieved when things come back normal. Gold star for making it through the last week of our 2nd trimester!
