05-6-2009 - 29 week checkup and possible vacation?

My mood while writing this blog:
Chill.

Hello all. I went in for my check up today and when I walked in the office was PACKED...normally I don't have to wait very long but I was nervous that I would be there forever. Soo I went to check in and the receptionist says my appointment is for next week......UM NO? I told her I am supposed to be seen every 2 weeks now and that I was scheduled wrong...so she did manage to squeeze me in but she said I would probably have to wait a while. At least I have my blackberry to play with lol. Luckily I didn't wait long, but I was upset because I specifically have been scheduling my appointments with this amazing doctor that I LOVE. And of course she wasn't in today, so I got stuck with the super quiet, weird guy that doesn't like to talk at all. Well my appointment went well, BUT I'm up 4 lbs in 2 weeks!!!!!!! OMG, NOT cool. NO no NO. Ugh...oh well the doctor didn't care. That puts me at 7 lbs total. So I guess that's not too bad. My bp was 116/64. I am still measuring a week ahead and the doctor seemed to think my little guy was laying head first. His heart beat was in the 140's. He also said that he thinks he is a big boy...but how can you really say that without a sonogram?? Oh well, I go in for my 3d/4d on Wednesday and I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooo excited!!!!! I can't wait!

Oh yeah, AND I might be going on vacation to Florida from the 12th - 20th of June. It's kind of a last minute thing. But if we go we will be driving because plane tickets are way too expensive thanks! The drive to Naples Fl from Pittsburgh is about 20 hours. We will stop half way and stay in a hotel then go the rest of the way the next day. When I was prego with Ava we went on a trip to Massachusetts when I was 28 weeks...there were 5 of us stuffed into a Jeep Cherokee....that SUCKED. I was so effin swollen and miserable, so I'm not really looking forward to this, but I know I will definitely have more room this time. We have a big suv and it will only be my husband, daughter and me. Plus our 2 dogs. So I will have more space for my big ass this time! I loooove Naples so I really do hope we get to go. Ok well I think I am done ranting. I hope everyone is spectacular!!! :)

Hi Jenna - glad baby is ok - nice strong heart beat hey. Well done, and who cares how much weight you put on - as long and you are BOTH healty - the rest is petty stuff. Although I know looking at my ass in the mirror gives me the creaps. Good luck with the trip. I have been band from driveing too far from howe - no longer then 30min drive away is my limit. so enjoy the holiday and drive safe.
