16-10-2009 - It\'s been a while!

My mood while writing this blog:
Sleepy..and wide awake.

Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well :) It's been a while since I updated, I'm never really on here anymore!
So first off, Caleb is doing wonderfully!! He's still tiny..probably a little over 10 lbs now and about 22 inches (my little peanut man). I guess I just have small children cause Ava has been in the 10th percentile for weight since 2 months old lol. He's eating about 5 ounces every 3 1/2 hours or so. He's very alert, he loves watching our 56" tv lol. He takes great naps during the day and is pretty much a very content and happy little guy..we did have some issues with spit up and fussiness but we switched him to soy formula and is doing much better. (I had to stop BFing because of all the new medication I'm on, which is ok with me because he ATE ALL THE TIME!) He is sleeping very well at night, but the problem there is he and Ava share a room...so when he cries, she wakes up...when she wakes up crying, it wakes him up! It gets very frustrating. He only slept in our room for a few weeks, and he does much better on his own. We have our dogs in our room with us, and a fan on, and my husband gets up early for work so I think all those noises would wake him up. Now if only I could get my 2 YEAR OLD to stop waking up in the middle of the night lol. I can't believe my little girl is 2 years old already, man time flies. I remember joining this site when I was 8 weeks pregnant with her!!!!! IT'S CRAZY! Myself on the other hand has been having some issues. Post partum depression has been a problem, I had it after Ava and knew I would get it again. It's not as bad this time. BUT I did find out I have severe hypothyroidism after spending 3 days in the hospital when Caleb was only 3 weeks old. So needless to say I am on a myriad of medicine. My night stand looks like a pharmacy!! I'm slowly starting to feel better. But I am having a hard time getting the weight off...I lost almost all of it by my 2 week check up and now for some reason it's creeping up on me again! I think the thyroid problem has something to do with it, but it's frustrating. I want to get out and walk and jog and exercise but I'm so unbelievably tired all the time. And here I am at almost 4 am ugh!
Well just wanted to give a quick update. Hope all is well with everyone :) :)
