My mood while writing this blog: ??? |
OK so...
I am feeling great besides the nausea. Ugh! The only thing is now I am wondering if I should be worried. I had my HCG levels taken twice really, really, really early and they more than doubbled and my doctor seemed fine with them and said I didn't need to go back for more but just to wait for the ultrasound at 7.2 weeks to see the heartbeat. She said everything seems to be going up fine but I am reading everyone's blogs on their levels and numbers and mine was no where near that. My numbers were 22 and then 86. Why wasn't it higher....just because I was early? I don't get it. I am leaving for vacation on Monday and I am freaking out about it...the flying with my axiety and nausea. Oh man....I don't know what to do. Should I ask to get my HCG drawn again? Would you be worried about those numbers? What should I do about flying? Ugh, I'm a mess. Someone please write me back....

Thursday, 3 Jul Honestly DO NOT worry about it. You went in early. EVERYONE's numbers are different. Someone that is in the same week as me could have a couple thousand higher than mine, it is just different with every person. Please try not to worry, Trust me, I am the queen of all worry warts, enjoy your vacation and congrats again! alexaliff -
Thursday, 3 Jul Just don't worry about it! A lot of people don't even know that they're pregnant at 4 weeks! I know I didn't! Never even had my hcg levels checked. I think that you need to stop worrying about the hcg levels- you have enough to worry about with the flying. Relax : ) hopethis1lasts -
Thursday, 3 Jul Hi again! We are both due the same day and mine went from 41.7 to 536. I know from my previous pregnancy that the lower the hcg could mean it's not a viable pregnancy. Im not trying to be rude or anything but you asked for help so im telling you what i have experianced. That happend to me twice last year. I went on vacation and everything was fine and then when we got there i started bleeding really bad and then m/c. I would have her run another test just so you can feel better. Also look online for an hcg chart and it will tell you the week your in and what the level range is. If your towards the end of that week your hcg should be higher. Like my last hcg result was 536 that should in the five weeks not early 4wks. So best of luck and keep me posted! JUst try not to stress to much -newnaam -
Thursday, 3 Jul Hi there how r u - you poor thing. I don't know if they do things differently in my country - but I have never had bloods taken with any of my pregnancies to check my hormone levels and all of my pregnancies have been great - and also maybe your dates are not quite the same as others?? I don't know, but try not too worry, it's hard though - I was off having an u/s today as i was having discomfort and it ends up it is my right ovary which is sitting on my left - weird or what but my ovary is enlarged with follicles as I took clomid - but all is well. Take care and ttys and try not to stress too much.x preggiebelly -
Thursday, 3 Jul honey.... your levels are just fine. I know they seem a bit low compared to mine but that's because mine are sky high. They are really starting to consider the chance of multiples because mine are so high. What's most important, more than anything else, is that your levels are doubling. That's the most crucial measurement & that's happening just fine for you. :)
Your levels are falling right where they should for where you are. Pregnancy for everyone is different. Levels are all over the place. For instance... the average levels for 5 weeks fall between 18 and 7,340. You can have a level of 25 in week 5 and as long as it's doubling the little one is doing great..... or you could have a level of 12,000 and that's wonderful too.
There's such a huge span of things.
And also.... you could have ovulated just a few days later than you thought you did.... and a few days makes all the difference in the world when it comes to levels.
Don't worry! As long as your levels are doubling like they should.... your baby is happy & healthy in there! :)
