18-6-2009 - our twins

My mood while writing this blog: nervous

Hi everyone I went for my second ultrasound and found out that my twins are mona-amniotic twins. Which means they share the same yolk sac, placenta, and amniotic fluid. There is no membrane in between them so there is a 50% chance that one of them will not make it. So please keep us in your prayers. Thanks so much. O I posed my ultrasound pic of them just incase you want to see them.

This is the rarest, riskiest type of twin pregnancy, but you can carry them to terms with no, or very little problems as well.
It's good to be aware of the risks, but staying positive throughout the pregnancy is not a bad thing either.
