My mood while writing this blog: Ok

So Doctor came in this morning and checked Carter out and said he looked great. Only to find out a few hours later that he was jaundice and his levels were VERY high for not even being 24 hours old. So they had to take hime from us and put him on an IV and put him under the lights to bring it down. Hopefully it is nothing to be too concerned about but it is so hard to not be able to hold him all day. I only get him in my room every 3 hours for 30 minutes to feed. The he has to go right back to the nursery. It is not likely that he will get to come home with me tomorrow. They will soon be running the jaundice tests on him and I am keeping my fingers crossed that his levels come down.
