13-5-2009 - Update

My mood while writing this blog: Excited

Went to my appointment today. I had been so nervous about things not being right. She brought in the doppler and said it may take a minute to find the heartbeat. She searched and searched and no heartbeat. My heart sank. She then asked if they had ever told me I had a tilted uterus. I told her yes they had told me that. She said oh we may not be able to find it then. So she walked out of the room and came back to tell me we were going to get an u/s. I was so worried at that point because I thought they weren't going to find the baby. But sure enough there it was bouncing all over in there. The heart rate was at 170. I was so excited and it was so cool to see the baby moving all over the place. needless to say I have a new piece of mind for at least a few days!! I have my next appointment on 6/11/09. Until then I am going to do my best to not worry myself to death!
