So I have been having this brown discharge for over a week now. I went to the doctor on Monday and they said I had a yeast infection. I did not think it was because I didn't have any itching or burning. So I didn't take the treatment they told me to. The discharge continued... on Sat I woke up to what looked like blood in my underwear. I was concerned so I called the nurse line and talked to the doctor. She told me it wasn't anything that concerned her but if I was worried I could come into the hospital. So as I was taking a shower I noticed what appeared to be tissue passing. So by this time I was really concerned. I went into the hospital in the ob unit and got right in and they were great. They heard a heartbeat and the doctor checked my cervix and told me everything was ok. She said that it appears my blood vessels may have torn or burst. What we were both seeing was old blood. She told me my cervix was thick, long and closed. She was not concerned by what was going on at all. I am confused though because it just continues to come. Wasn't sure if this was normal. It just seems weird. But I guess they have checked me out 2 times this week and everything looks ok so I shouldn't worry myself but how can you not worry? I have my scheduled doctors appointment on thursday and will have lots of questions. The doctor at the hospital also said I had no signs of yeast so she doesn't think I had a yeast infection. Man talk about confusing!!! I hate NOT knowing what is going on in my body!

I hope things Go perfect and smoothly!!! And ur jus bleeding bc ur body is being dumb!!!!

I had the same thing. I think around then is when the placenta is really starting to establish itself and it can break blood vessels. I had bleeding off and on all first trimester till about week 15 maybe. Then none after. And everything looks great now :) Try not to worry too much unless you start cramping, etc, it happens to a lot of people.

Ok that doesnt sound right to me... If your bleeding then go to the hospital.. period... I have never seen a yeast infection make me or anyone bleed in the 8 years i have been in the medical field... I could be wrong but I know if your bleeding at all... at all... you should go get checked out to be sure the baby is ok by ultrasound and also to be sure your cervix is closed... 14 weeks is early.. The early months are critical for you to watch for any signs of bleeding cramping... are you cramping? How much blood? Red or brown? See there are lots of questions... too many.. If you are at all... one bit worried... Go to the E.R.... Keep me posted hun..... Jen
