28-6-2010 - Week 8

My mood while writing this blog:
Good

The beginning of this week I thought I was finally going to throw up but as the week progressed and came to and end; I've been feeling better and better. I still get my random bouts of nausea but it's not as bad as it usually is.. I've NEVER been much of a puker and my mom didn't have morning sickness with me so I've thought all along that I might skip that part. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself but it sure FEELS like it's getting better. I was actually able to break my pregnancy routine and get some stuff done around the house lately (whereas lately all I've wanted to do is lay on the couch and feel miserable)..

I got a big box of plastic gloves so I can keep taking out the kitty litter.. I let Josh do it once but he is just completely hopeless at it lol. I'm not too worried about toxopalalsmasiiaa as I've had cats all my life and these 2 are indoor anyway. Plus I'm being really careful using gloves and washing my hands thoroughly afterwards.

It's a lot easier to enjoy our nice, new house when I can actually meander around sprucing it up! We're supposed to have our kitchen table delivered today, along with a lawnmower, BBQer, out-door furniture and a really big corner desk for Josh's office. Exciting! It's nice to have room for these sorts of things again- our first place was a very, very small flat. Didn't even have room for a table so we're going to have to kick the habit of eating dinner on the couches.

Speaking of dinner.. you know when spaghetti is just REALLY awesome? That's how it was last night.. Oooooh man it was good. I made spaghetti and fresh lemon garlic greenbeans and a loaf of bread and it was just divine. I'm going to make grilled chicken salad tonight, which is always good.. but we keep forgetting to get cash out to get some avocados from the street vendors (they're over 3 dollars each at the grocery store right now, and 3 dollars a *BAG* at the vendors- hmm tough choice) and I reeeeally love avocado in my salad. :(

Hmmm I'm getting kinda hungry now, and no wonder- it's 3pm and I haven't eaten yet! Sorry baby, used to not eating cuz of nausea! Heading to the kitchen now :D

Now you've made me hungry! The green beans sound divine! Glad you are feeling better. I am still waiting for the nausea to hit. Third pregnancy and haven't felt anything yet. My other two pregnancies were horrible. I was hospitalized for dehydration, etc. Well, I need to go find a snack now since you have my stomach growling!! Take care!
