02-2-2009 - C section with first baby

My mood while writing this blog: ok

For my first baby I was due on Jan, 18 2008, I had my check up on the 2nd of Jan but it stormed so I just went in the next day and they squished me in. lucky I did cuz my BP was really high and my kidneys were leaking protein , so the Dr told me to take it easy an dgo into the hospital the next morning so they could check and see what they thought, Anywya they kept me in the hospital so they could watch my Bp and see how much protein was getting out for 24hr then they wanted to do another 24hr ...... finaly they desided to induce me at around lunch time on sunday so I waited all day and nothing happened, so around 11 pm the dr broke my water and the contrations started pretty much right away, After about an hr or so the babys heart beat was droping every time I had a contration so the dr came in and watched the heartbeat for about 45min to see if it was going to keep dropin.... it was down in the 80s not really sure how low it went but anyway. Then she asked me if I had my heart set on a natrul birth, I said I didnt really care, I hadnt really thought about plus I was so tired I just wanted to sleep. So she said it was probably bettre if they did a c section, so I was only in labour for about 2hrs then I went to surgry , it went pretty fast , my husband came in with me and watched the whole thing. And they forgot to tell us what he was because he wasn't breathing right away I guess , but then he started breathing and pee on the Dr. 3 times, lol

I m just hoping this time I dont need a c section. The Dr told me I should be able to have the baby natural this time as long as nothing gose wrong, she said she not really sure why my sons heartbeat kept droping she couldn't see any thing wrong when she did the c section.

But I guess I will have to wait and find out ...
