06-8-2008 - labour scare releived, tired, worried, confusedMy mood while writing this blog:
releived, tired, worried, confused

Well this little girl is really keeping us on our toes!!!! On monday and few days prior to that i was getting this heavy feeling in my pelvis, it actually felt like she was going to fall out of me!!! This worried me because I didn't feel like this when I was pregnant with Riley until i was close to the end, so I called my dr and made an appointment to see her. When I got there she felt my belly and could also feel the tightenings and that combined with the heavy feeling worried her so she sent me upto the hospital. After waiting in the delivery room for 3 long hours the dr on duty came and examined me and said that since my cervix was closed and he detected no protein on my cervix he didn't think I was in labour (huge releif) but said that it also itsn't stretching or inflamation so he couldn't rule out that i might go into labour. They kept me in hospital on observation until yesterday afternoon and sent me home with no diagnosis. Basically they don't seem to know what is going on with my body, main thing is that the baby is happy and healthy. So now we have to sit tight and wait and see what happens from here. The tightening has eased up thank god but the pressure is still there. Wish us luck and i'll keep you all posted. Also if anyone else is experiencing this write to me I could do with some support

hey darl i know isactly how your feeling, given this is your 3rd pregnancy this will tend to happen its definately not uncommon as your uterus/ligaments etc are all stretched from previous pregnancies. i am currently on bed rest all together for the rest of my pregnancy as i keep going into labor for some reason, its weird if im up walking around i start getting contractions regularly and yet if i'm laying down they only come every now and then however they are quite painful, so just take it easy you dont wanna bubba arriving now coz she'll be in hospital for 3months but if she arrives at a later stage say 35 weeks you'll be there for only two weeks its a big difference i wouldnt be worried too much especially if your cervix is still closed thats a good sign, but i personally would be taking it easy until your much closer to your due date to adviod any complications..
