| 24-8-2008 - mucus plug | My mood while writing this blog:worried, stressed, upset |
And the drama continues!!! I lost my mucus plug on sunday. It started off in the morning I was losing chunks of jelly stuff then in the afternoon after i went to the toilet and blood stained blob came out. I lost my plug when i was pregnant with riley so i recognised it straight away, but i was 40 weeks when i lost my plug with Riley not 27 weeks. I went upto hospital and they checked my cervix and it's closed but my cervix has shortened but the doctor said it looks good, so i got excited and said "so it'll be a few months before i go into labour" she just looked at me and said "not likely, more weeks than months" but she didn't say how many weeks. They sent me home because i'm only 5mins down the road from the hospital so when i start to get contractions or loose more mucus i have to go back.
I really hope that i can beat the odds and make go full term, even if they all think it's unlikely you never can tell what your body can do in pregnancy, nothing is out of the question. So now i have to sit tight and hope for the best and see what happens. I'll keep you posted xo
