13-8-2008 - still wondering

My mood while writing this blog:
thanking god for one lil miracle

so now Im 25 weeks and still havent felt the baby move since last blog its been about a week it was weird a week ago I was feeling something where is now nothing......kinda has me a lil down but maybe its cause the placenta moved or something I dunno my apt with the doctor is auguest 26th at 2:30 and Im hopeing all is well .....still having alot of constapation but I have decided from now on Im going to be taking a stool softener on a regular basis doctor said it was ok just dam my bum is killing me lol ........so on a great note my friend becca went into labour last night her water broke at 7:30 pm and by 1 am she was almost 6 cm dialated it seemed to fly by so I went to the hospital got there about 1:30 am and by that time she was already 10 cm dialated so anyways long story short she ended up finally delevering her baby at 4:20 am and she has a healthy baby girl gave me a real eye opener labour is tough .......but Im glad her lil one is doing well and is ok and she is doing well as well anyways so thats the latest I was thinking about buying one of those baby dopler things to maybe hear the heart beat to ease my mind I just dont feel pregnant except for being tired I dunno everyone is saying its normal but I dunno time will tell right and if its meant to be it will and if it isint it wont be anyways get back to me and tell me what u all think hope everyone is doing well *hugs* and just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the feedback u are all very nice and its nice to have ppl who know what im going through

Hi, you've prob got a lazy little man in there, you know what men are like, they'll do it on there own time. My little one is starting to move a lot more but he's at the stage of he'll only let me feel it, if his dad puts his hand on my belly he'll stop all movement or give my internal kicks that he can't feel. I've got an antior placenta too so not seen my belly dance around yet, for piece of mind see if you can rent a dopplar instead of buying one as we've only got 14 and a bit weeks left. My friend didn't feel her baby move until week 25 and she's just given birth to a healthly baby girl this morning. Hope your feeling better about it boys will be boys and he'll soon be kicking up a storm inside. xx

the one thing that puts me at ease is knowing that even though my baby is small at 25 weeks he can now live outside my body if anything was to go wrong. technology these days is amazing :)

I also did not feel my baby in week 25. It took a little longer. Every mother is different, especially if it is your first pregnancy.

Have you called to ask your doctor about fetal movement? A week is a long time to wait if you are really feeling absolutly nothing. Hope all is well. I know this is a tough time.
