19-9-2009 - mia seeing ghosts?????help???

My mood while writing this blog:
Ok

ok so mia is 3 months now , she has great eye contact , shes doing well , but here is the thing . shes constanly looking past me , on the ceiling and laughing , there is times where we play togeather and she pays attention too me but recently i have been in the kitchen doing dishes or something else while she is down for her nap i go too check in on her and shes wide awake laughing staring at the ceiling , and the ceiling is white plain white nothing too make her laugh also now she looks behind us , and is focusing really hard on something , but 9 times outta 10 when she is awake and i go too pee or something its like shes being entertained , its weird , anyone else have this happen too them "? what did u do ? is it normal , i know kids see more than we do but shes soo little and i just wanna know if any other moms have gone through this ......and what they did

hehe Nevaeh does the same thing she looks towards the ceiling and starts laughing anc cooing i personaly think its my grandma. People might think im crazy for it but thats just what i think.

i wouldn't worry about it too much. Maya stares at nothing and is quite amused by it. Everything I've read tells me this is normal. FOr them to be amused by a white wall..etc... Maya plays by herself and I hear her cooing and see her smiling at just about anything, including "nothing". :)

At that age, babies are highly attracted to the colors white and black. It is about all they can focus on for the moment. I used to think the same of my Isabella as she was always staring at the ceiling and cooing, smiling and laughing! I thought it was either fairies or ghosts!! Then I read about the color thing. xox

Sometimes Aidan does the same,. How about think about it this way, might make you feel a lot better, your daughter could be seeing your beloved son, who may just be her guardian angel. My cousin who is a twin lost her twin brother at birth. He was a stillborn and she was premmie and swears to this day he's watching over her and can feel his prescense.
