29-7-2008 - Josephs 2 week doctors

well i just got back from josephs 2 weeks doctors appointment. it went well when he was born he weighed 5 pounds 9 oz. as of today he is 6 pounds 14 oz. they were very happy with that so he went from the 5th% to the 10%. they also redid his pku test, he did not cry at all. the only time he cryed is when i had to take his clothes off. also the yellow tint went away she said he is a nice pink now. i did talk to them about his lil gas problem, she said if it keeps it up by the end of next week, then to call and we will go on a diffrent formula, and i can use the gas relief drops on him every 2-4 hours if he needs it. they were happy that he is eatting about 2oz every 2-3 hours. they told me to stop letting him sleep with me during the day. cause of the risk of sids. other then that he did great. we came home, and took a 40 minute walk to the farmers market. he loved it, now he is sleeping and i just finished my lunch, time for me to join him, cause i have been up sence 5:30 am and its noon. i am tired, he goes back for his 6 week check up aug. 21 and i go for my check up aug.22 i hope everyone is doing well, and getting enough rest, and enjoying there lil ones, and for thoses who have not had there lil ones yet, u will soon, and u will love every minute with them, they are so much fun, and loveable. take care, and keep me updated.
