21-5-2009 - two month update

My mood while writing this blog: just great

So today i worked my first eight hour shift since before i gave birth. When I got home I completely dismissed all worries about my smelly clothes (I work the grill at a burger joint) and held him close, realizing only then how much I missed him. I know it's unreasonable but I have this fear that one day i'll come home from work and instead of devon rushing to me, he'll be indifferent to my presence as long as his dad is around for him. i love that he's so conent with his dad, but i don't ever want to think he doesn't need me! I know it's unreasonable, it's just one of many unreasonable fears.

david is in town with devon and I. He watched him for me both today and tomorrow because my hours have unexpectedly increased when a coworked had to leave the restaurant due to health issues. i wanted to spend the time with both my little men. but making money while they spend time together is the next best thing..

baby's fussing so I gotta run...
