My mood while writing this blog: Happy and tired

Hi everyone,

Well yesterday I had my 24 week check-up appointment.

All went well. My doctor is really impressed and happy with the progress of the pregnancy.
he let me read the results from my twenty week scan and it was so comforting. It said that my baby has long bones and all its major organs are in working and top order and finished saying all appears normal for this stage of the pregancy.

The doctor listened to the heart beat too. Apparently it was 138 beats per minute which he was impressed with.

This morning I awoke about 5:30am for my morning pee (sorry too much info). ..... and when i climbed back into bed the baby was happily kicking me. My husband unfortunately missed the event because he was out having a morning run.

My general mood of late has been pretty happy. I am starting to get tired more often again though so Iam not sure whether my weeks of bliss were short lived in the last few because I really didn't do any celebrating...

My next appointment isn't until week 28, its when they are going to do my glucose test. That should be interesting.
