29-6-2008 - 2nd Trimester

My mood while writing this blog: impatient!

Hooray, I have finally made it to my second trimester, many people have told me that the nausea and fatigue should ease up now for a few months - really hope so as i am struggling with feeling sick constantly at the moment!

I have been trying all morning to feel my uterus which is supposed to be above my pubic none by now and I'm sure my prodding around is really annoying for the little one but prod as I may I've not been able to find anything - maybe it's because I'm not exactly stick-thin anyway.

Nevermind!

My 12 week ultrasound was perfect and we saw our baby waving it's arms about and kicking away so we are very happy - now just another excruciatingly long wait until the beginning of August when I can have my 20 week ultrasound and find out if we are having a boy or a girl!

August 8th and jamie and I know! He swears its a boy, but I've been feeling its a girl lately, kind of. Ah its a long wait! Hows are you feeling?

Hi Jo!! I hope you do start to feel better. I found the uterus most easily while laying down on my back, bladder empty. You really don't have to push around, just start low, use your open palm and you will feel a hardER area just above your pubic hair that extends up into the lower belly. Trust me...I'm not stick thin either...
