13-6-2008 - Trying baby porridge!!

MONDAY 26th MAY 08

I'm sitting here wondering where this year has gone already - its almost 1st June. Before we blink it'll be xmas!! My baby boy will be 16 weeks this Thurs. He tried half a rusk for the first time on the weekend which he thought was much nicer than baby rice and now has it every morning about 11ish. He also tried juice for the first time and it was so funny. He didn't half pull some faces and i think if he could have spoken he'd have said 'YUK'. lol He's almost rolling. If he could just work out how to move his one arm he'd be over. I was convinced yesterday he was gonna do it and got the video camera out but no!! Kian's having terrible trouble teething love him but we still get lots of smiles. He was much better after his 2nd lot of injections which was such a relief. Den took him in this time and i think he finally realised how hard it actually is. Kian has discovered he has feet and grabs them when i take his trousers off to change his nappy. Hasn't quite mastered how to chew them yet though!! He's also really discovered he has voice and will shout at the top of it when he wakes in the morning. The more i say 'you noisy monkey you'll wake the kids' the funnier he thinks it is and shouts all the more! You cant help smiling even when it is 5 o'clock in the morning!!!
