30-12-2008 - ITS A GIRL!!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

So I am a little late getting the news out because I am in NC on a mini vacation but I just wanted to share that Friday we found out we are having a GIRL!!!

A little suprising when my dad (a minister) who practicaly "guesses" everything right said it was a boy. Everyone around me sensed it was a boy. My husband and I prayed out hearts out for a healthy baby and threw the "dear Lord if possible could you kick in a penis" prayer. My mom has a box full of boys clothes already. We had a boy name picked out. The list goes on and on.

So when the U/S lady says "GIRL", I scream and my husband yells, "looks like we have to try again!" (Insert my WTF face here)!!!!!

So, seeing how the color I hate the most is pink and we cannot even agree a little on a girl name, this will be an interesting experience.

Either way, seeing our (swallow) girl on the U/S screen was absolutley breathtaking and now I am starting to feel like a real mom. I talk to her all the time and tell her how I cant wait to meet her.
