23-1-2009 - Questions. Round 1

My mood while writing this blog:

1. I'm in week 22. Am I supposed to be going through a round of being sleepy all the time again like the 1st trimester?

2. What are yall using to prevent stretch marks?

3. Do you play your baby music? If so, when and what kind?

4. Does kicking while playing music or talking to my child mean she is happy, stimulated or pissed??

5. Is anyone else being told they are in denial about how big they are?

6. Maternity pictures anyone? When are you getting them done?

7. Are yall still getting relaxers or is your mom like mine and threatening me against it? Mind you, my hair is thicker than.... ummmm..... its thick!

8. How many places are you/ are you planning to register at?

9. Is Dani Lee a "country" name for a girl? (My husband's name is Daniel Lee) I;m not easily offended.

10. My friend says my in law's cat will attack me if it smells the milk from my breast. Are they bullshitting me?

2. What are yall using to prevent stretch marks? I haven't used anything special. I have always had a regular routine for my skin. But I use sea salt scrubs all over every other day and then I used Vasaline Cocoa Butter lotion. On the days I don't use the scrubs I used the concentrated baby oil soon after I shower. It seems to work and my skin is soft and clear.

3. Do you play your baby music? If so, when and what kind? I don't occasionally. I play a little bit of everything I listen to: Erykah Badu, Gospel, Jill Scott, etc. Just everything I listen to.

4. Does kicking while playing music or talking to my child mean she is happy, stimulated or pissed?? I have always wondered that...I don't know.

5. Is anyone else being told they are in denial about how big they are? No.

6. Maternity pictures anyone? When are you getting them done? Feb 8th. I can't wait.

7. Are yall still getting relaxers or is your mom like mine and threatening me against it? Mind you, my hair is thicker than.... ummmm..... its thick! I am not getting relaxers and it is killing me because my hair is thick and I cut it short, but I love my Chi Irons...makes my hair look like I don't need a perm.
