I was told I am anemic also! Yes they gave me iron pills and a stool softner I take two times a day. Cant say I can tell the difference as far as my energy level, but they way I look at it, I gotta replenish myself with the iron that my baby takes from me. It doesnt harm our babies at all. Even if we are takin gthe prenatal vitamin, being anemic and taking iron can only help our bodies. hope this helps!

So today at my doctors appointment, they told me I was anemic, aniemic, an......... i dont know how to spell it. They gave me a prescription for an iron supplement.
Has anyone experience anemia or had to take an iron supp? If so, is it a horrible thing for the baby??
