What a way to enter week 37!

I woke up at 2am Sunday morning and didn't feel so hot. Turns out by 2:30 I was vomiting and had diarrhea. I was up all night and around 4:00 on Sunday I couldn't do it anymore. It was horrible. I called the clinic and they thought I should come in because I was probably dehydrated.

So, we went to the hospital and they hooked me up to IV fluids and started the first IV bag. A half an hour later the nurse comes in and asks me how long I have been having contractions. HUH? I thought they were just Braxton Hicks, nothing big. Well, the doctor came in and checked me and I was dilated to a 1 or 2. I was just closed on Thursday!

So, the contractions kept coming and another IV bag later they checked me again and I was a 3! Holy crap, They told me that they thought I was going to have a baby tonight! I think I lost my mind after that...

So, they started another bag and the contractions were still coming but defintiely slowing down. 2 hours later, they stopped. So - no baby. Thank goodness. But, I am a little over 3 CM dilated and 60% effaced.

I guess that means I get the bad ready today, huh? I am just so happy that everything is okay and she looks great. Could be anyday now:) Holy crap...
