My mood while writing this blog: Ok

august 1- i'm horrible at updating this page. but last night, my husband and i found out we're having a BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we're so excited. he kept showing us his boyhood. there definitely were some family jewels. he was moving around like crazy. u/s tech said he's measuring approx. 20 weeks. not 18. she said he is very long and weighs 9 oz. it was better than christmas. my new due date is december 28th. i CANNOT wait to finally register this weekend. we haven't bought anything. but now it's time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so happy it's a boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nausea went away at week 13. (lasted 7 horrific weeks) some headaches here and there. acne starting week 11. i've only put 7 pounds on. and my belly is growing like mad.

august 15- i'm 20 weeks and 3 days. okay, now i feel like this is taking FOREVER!! but one good thing is we decided on a name. his name will be CADEN THOMAS. i didn't think we'd ever make a decision. but we did it. i went to the o.b. on wednesday, and i've put on 10 pounds.

i have to say, this is the most confident/sure of myself (physically) i've felt in years. it's really cool to embrace your new body and the attention that comes with a growing belly. and lord knows, it's growing a ton!! my work scrubs do not fit. so tight everywhere. so excited to have this little boy. maybe he'll be a christmas baby??

august 22- so today, i'm 21 weeks and 5 days. i'm sleeping like crap. i toss and turn all night long. and everytime i turn, i have to pee. so then i get up. and then i'm awake for awhile. so basically, i'm tired all the time.

caden is quite the kicker. last week, it was these little, teeny taps on my ute. this week, he's judo chopping my belly.

but this is exciting... my sister-in-law is in labor as i type this. so by the end of the day, i'll have another neice. pretty fun!!
