28-4-2008 - update

My mood while writing this blog: tired, awake, scared to death, and excited... crazy isn\'t it??

so, my husband and i decided end of december to ttc. all of this pregnancy lingo is a little nuts. but i'll do it. on top of all of this i have a pituitary tumor. long story short, i'm fine but my body thinks it's always in pregnant-mode. let me tell you how fun that is. b/c of the tumor, the chances of pregnancy are low. but we figured we'd try anyways. no luck january. no luck february. we then decided that i would go back on birth control couple weeks ago and just wait till next year when i'm done with nursing school. so last week, i scheduled my annual. and was gonna go back on birth control.

well, low and behold, i puked for 2 days straight last week. i took a nap everyday last week. back is hurting really badly. hungry. peeing A LOT.etc. etc. my best friend has been telling me for 2 weeks to take a test. so i go to the store and get one today. get home. pee in the cup and all of a sudden... literally within 22 seconds, it was so freaken POSITIVE. my husband was at work till 930, so i decided to wait till then to tell him. so now, instead of walking out with a prescription for birth control, i'll walk out with ultrasound pictures.

so, if my calendar is correct, i might be around 6w2d. and due in december.

holy crap.
