21-8-2008 - Today is the Day!

My mood while writing this blog: Nervous

Okay, girls... Today is the day! I have my first ultrasound and obgyn appointment. My doctor is an old neighbor of mine that also attended my wedding, so I know she will be surprised to see me considering that my wedding was only this past June. But because she is so close with the family, hopefully she will be very honest with me on how everything is doing and what is good and what isn't. She too just had a baby not too long ago. So I'm glad she is the one taking care of us.

I'm so nervous! I really want to see the heartbeat and know everything is okay. I'm terrified of not seeing one though or for her to say that there is no baby. Or perhaps she tells me I'm not as far along as I thought I was. Oh, my stomache is just tossing and turning right now! Thank god, my husband took the day off work. He is so great. He has to get blood work done along with me because I'm O neg and if he is O positive, then I have to get a shot to protect the baby.

I'll let everyone know how it goes. I told my hubby, we are praying for a good strong heartbeat, high levels, and perhaps to be further along then we thought we were (it would be nice but I'll be happy with just the other two)! Please pray for us. Lots of baby dust!!!!!!
