15-9-2008 - Update on Pain

My mood while writing this blog: hungry

Hey all,

I just wanted to start out by saying thank you to everyone who has commented so far with well wishes and their thoughts. It means the world to me!
I talked to the nurse at my doctors office and she told my doctor what's going on. Now, since my doctor is a close friend of the family (she was at my wedding) and has had her first baby not too long ago herself, I trust her completely because she knows what I'm going through and this is her profession. Anyway, she said that she really thinks that I just pulled a muscle in my pubic area and that she doesn't think that its pregnancy related so she gave me the number to an orthopedic surgen and wants me just to keep my regular scheduled appointment for later this week. I really feel much better now. I mean, I honestly thought that it could be the same thing, I just didn't want to not call and ask and regret it later. I don't know that I will call the other doctor just cause if its just a pulled muscle, then I really think it will heal itself within a couple of days. No since in missing work and dealing with insurance referal nonsense for something that I can possibly just walk off with a little excersize. I'm going to give it another day and see how I feel. Already this morning, the pain isn't quite as bad. It still hurts, don't get me wrong. I just doesn't hurt like it did. So that is good. Thank you again for all your support and thoughts! I'm so glad we are all going through these crazy times together!
