22-1-2009 - 30 week update

My mood while writing this blog: Comfortable

Hey Ladies,

I hope everyone is doing well. Getting closer and closer!!! Getting excited! And nervous... lol. Had my 30 week doctor's appointment and I had only gained 2 lbs again this 2 week period. Its funny because I haven't changed my eatting habits at all. I'm not complaining though! A pound a week is just fine by me! As for the the actual appointment itself, the doctor told me that she was happy everything was progressing the way it was. The baby is head down and she was kicking the device that they use to hear the heart beat. The heartbeat was nice and strong and she is still measureing 2 weeks ahead. So... 32 weeks. She guessed that the baby probably weighes between 3 and 3.5 lbs. She asked me if I had, had any contraction pains, or any tightening and I told her no. Just round ligament pain is all I figure. She did say that after checking out my urine sample, she could tell I was a little dehydrated but I wasn't nearly as dehydrated as my last appointment 2 weeks ago so she told me to just keep drinking lots of water and keep track of that. I've got paperwork in the mail from the hospital that I'm delivering at about classes and the breastfeeding class and Joy of Parenthood class look like the two main ones that I'm interested in. I need all the help I can get!!! Anyway, that's the latest news. More to come once I start classes! Have a wonderful weekend, mommies!!! Love, Janna banana
