17-12-2009 - 9 month check up

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

Hey Ladies!

Hope everyone is doing well out there. I know on my end, we've been stressing over finances and holiday traveling. Everything is so darn expensive these days! Especially with Christmas right around the corner. Ouch! But, on a good note, we had bugsie bug's 9 month check up today and she is doing fantastic. We expected her to be around 20 lbs but she is a little under at 18 lbs and 12 ounces which is just fine putting her in at the 40th percentile. And she is 29.25 inches tall which is in the 90th percentile. Her iron levels where perfect and the doctor said she looked very healthy and happy. I am so grateful and feel incredibly blessed. She hasn't started walking yet but she pulls herself up onto EVERYTHING and transfer back and forth onto things if the objects are close enough to reach while standing. She is opening cabinets now and pulling things out (we're putting hooks on them this weekend!) and she is even starting to try to stand up on her own without pulling up on anything. She loves to eat and has been doing very well with finger foods. She LOVES cherry puffs. Still no teeth yet but I'm not worried. They'll come when they come. I can rest easy for now that I won't get bitten anytime soon! :) Anyway, that's just the update from this end. I pray you all have a good holiday for those that celebrate.
