So, I got the results from my Progesterone level at least. My level suggests that I ovulated! This is NOT the test I was so eager to get results back on, because I KNOW I ovulate every month. But, it is nice to be reassured that I do indeed.
However, the laboratory my Husband and I went to for his semen analysis is epic failure. I would recommend anyone to stay away from LabCorp, because they seemed to me like they either didn't want to do their job or didn't know what they were doing.
Firstly, I had to call them yesterday morning to even initiate the faxing of the results.... We had our tests done Friday around 12pm, and my doctor's office is just now getting the results of my progesterone today. So, I called LabCorp again, and they didn't fax the results of the semen analysis ALONG with the Progesterone level! How retarded is that. Both tests were done at exactly the same time Friday and both were resulted yesterday when I called. Wouldn't they assume the doctor would want BOTH results?
It's all been a whole frustrating mess for my hubby and me. This is not the type of thing you make someone wait and wait and wait for when the person KNOWS the tests have been resulted!! GRRR!
I hope to know something at some point this week, because if his semen is normal, I'll have to schedule myself for the HSG (hysterosalpingogram for those of you who don't know what that is), and this test has to be done between completion of bleeding and before ovulation.
I'll keep you updated!
