| 22-5-2008 - Indroduction | My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
Well hi there,
Here is my first blog, so I'll try cover as much as I can without boring you to death. I am 22 years old, I live in Saskatchewan Canada. I am a wife of 4.5 years and the mommy of a beautiful girl named, Adailyah, Shannon, Loraine Seitz. She is almost two, can't believe how fast time goes. Here I am pregnant with number two, 15 weeks and 4 days today. It took eleven months for us to conceve this time, but don't worry we know why. While breastfeeding Adailyah I was on the Depo shot... well, my doc at the time decided it wasn't important information to tell me that it will take a year or MORE to get pregnant again after going off of it. Ugh, I was upset to get that news, but at the same time at least I knew what was going on and didn't have to worry about never having another baby. After waiting so long, I couldn't believe my eyes when the test was posative, and I wanted to tell my husband in a really cool way.... well I just ran to the phone, called him at work and told him. He was extatic as well, and was relieved his wife wasn't crazy, as all that month I was horrible to live with... Overemotional didn't even begin to explain how mean I was... it was bad. Anyways, Adailyah's pregnancy was wonderful, I wasn't sick a single day, it was flawless. At 8 days overdue I went to the big city to be induced which actually went well (eventhough everyone was telling me how horrible it was going to be). 21 hours later there she was. It wasn't all good though, her apgar score was 9, but my placenta (unknown until the birth) was attached to the muscle inside my uterus and I hemeraged. I ended up losing 2L of blood and being rushed for a D&C where they cleaned everything up. 2L is a lot, but I didn't need a transfusion so I couldn't have lost too too much. So this pregnancy I am worried about it happening again and will find out in a few weeks at my first ultrasound if it is again attached. The weird thing is the reason it usually attaches is because of scar tissue from a former c secion, or sist removal, both of which I had never had. If your in your first pregnancy don't worry because the odds or stupidly small. Anyways, I really don't want to bore anyone, so I'm going to stop now, ask any questions you like and I can't wait to get to know some new people. Also, I have facebook and myspace so let me know if you do as well. Have a great day, God Bless!!!
