19-10-2008 - Friday Doc appointment

My mood while writing this blog: Hungry

Well friday was my doc appointment and it went great. The nurse told me to strip from the waist down, so I did, and when the doc came in she was like " would you like me to check you? " and I was like " Well, I'm already half naked, so you may as well. "..... and GUESS WHAT, I am 1.5cm dialated and the cervix is nice and soft. This is SUPER exciting because it means my body will do it on it's own this time, and even better that there is no plasenta attachment. They figure I didn't go into labor before becuase it was attached, and when I was 8 days late, the day before they induced me they checked me and my cervix was hard and closed. Oh I'm just so happy. Other than that I'm measuring a week ahead, but they think it's a big baby... which is fine because I'm a big girl hahaha. I have a busy doc so I see her tomorrow again, that is the only appointment they had for me, so I'm already excited for it hee hee. Hopefully I won't need another one after this, but I won't get too ahead of myself. The crib came in and I did my last shopping for the baby stuff, and my hospital bag stuff so I'm totally ready for this to happen ^_-. Anywho, I have a lot to do today, so I best be off. Ttfn.
