| 14-10-2009 - 27weeks 4 days Doc Appointment | My mood while writing this blog:Sleepy |
Hey everyone,
Sorry it has been so long, but I've been out of town and had to delay my next prenatal until yesterday. It was awesome, as usual, to hear that beautiful heartbeat, was 146 bpm. I am measuring two weeks ahead ALREADY... so once again I am looking at a big baby. If you havent ready my blog about Cassidy, she was 10lbs 12oz, they actually let me go two weeks over due.
She also referred me to my specialist, again for those of you that don't know, I dont go into labor on my own, and I hemerage directly after birth so I need to be delivered by a specialist. Anyways, I am going to have some words for her (she is really awesome, but two weeks over due, like come on). Since this is our last baby I don't feel like being tortured, and by that I mean letting me gett giganitc with an already huge baby, by lett me go two weeks over due. Especially knowing the baby is big and that labor doesent start on it's own, I am going to make SURE they induce me a heck of a lot sooner. Also I'll be having the epidural turned way up, even during the pushing (they turn it off for pushing so you can feel whats going on) because once it comes out they have to manually go up, by hand, while I'm hemeraging to get the plasenta out. My uterus doesent contract so they have to get it out before I close up, otherwise I have to go under and get an emergency d n c. Last time it was unbelieveably painful, after pusing out a baby that big in 6 minutes, having two sets of hands up there with no pain relief..... I can't even explain it.. Anyways we are discussing how NOT to torture me this time around lol.
I also got my rogam shot for my O- blood. When you have O- blood, if the baby doesent have your blood type your body will create andi bodies against it and kill it, the shot prevents that. Cool for me, since O- is a rare blood type, both of my girls have it too, pretty cool. Sorry for all of the explanation but I have so many new friends on my list and dont want anyone confused haha.
It's totally winter here, has consistantly been snowing, though it's supposed to get really warm by saturday, so we might actually get some fall weather afterall.
I hope you are all healthy and happy, and good luck to those of you ttc, may God bless you SOON with your little miracle <3.
